K & R International Limited (“K&R”) is the first non-bank financial institution appointed as a prepaid card issuer of UnionPay International (“UPI”), and was granted a Stored Value Facilities (“SVF”) licence by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority in 2016. Apart from the issuing and distributing of UPI prepaid cards, we also provide convenient and efficient payment services to individuals and enterprises, including closed loop cards and mobile payment services.


Internship Information

K&R would like to offer an internship opportunity to students who are interested in pursuing their career in finance industry, in particular in fintech related areas. The intern will have the opportunity to work in various key business areas of the Company, and liaise with external business partners including fintech companies and major corporates to work on digital payment initiatives.

Stream A
Information Technology

Internship Duration: 6 months
Internship Period: Jul – Dec 2019

Job Duties

  • Assist IT Manager in providing IT support to business users
  • Help to maintain IT environment by following the guideline of regulators such as HKMA/HKICL and IT audit
  • Assist in IT incident logging, network maintenance, system analysis and change management
  • Understand the requirement of IT security and help to prepare documents to regulators

Requirements

Internship Duration: 6 months
Internship Period: Jul – Dec 2019

Job Duties

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis
  • Develop & maintain the Company’s online & offline marketing materials
  • Support the team to develop proposals and marketing materials for new products and projects
  • Propose and execute various service enhancement initiatives across channels, by coordinating with Operation and Customer Service Team
  • Participate in identifying and establishing new online & offline distribution channels to improve sales results
  • Support sales events including roadshows and customer seminars
